Bits of the Assabet and Nashua Rivers

 

Got the month of June off to a good start this past week while paddling local rivers.  Visited the Nashua River from Petapawag in Groton on Tuesday followed by bits of the Assabet River on Thursday and Saturday.  Both rivers still flowing well from the previous week's rainfall.

Invited a 'fish' onboard while on the Nashua...


Also encountered the egg shell remnants of what I hope was a successful turtle hatch...
...rather than the digging and dining of a predator.

The trash gathered up ran the gamut...
