The Day It Got a Lot More Real

 

I suppose we all hoped COVID wasn't as virulent as the epidemiologists had told us.  On Friday morning many of us awoke to the news that the current President of the United States had tested positive for the virus. Out on the Sudbury River under an ominous-looking sky I resolved to take precautions even more seriously.

Encountered this group of white-tailed deer...

...their resemblance to one another was striking.

An osprey was enjoying a fish breakfast...

...and a red-tailed hawk watched over all...

Very low water levels thanks to our continuing drought exposed a fair amount of river-tinted containers...
